Apollo to sing at Jeff Ansel's Birthday Party
After rehearsal on Sunday April 16 (12:30-2:30pm), we’ll head to the Zuhrah Shrine Center to sing at the birthday party for Apollo member Jeff Ansel.
Apollo as a "Choir on Tap"
The Apollo Chorus will be featured at the Twin Cities Beer Choir at Heavy Rotation Brewing Company on Saturday, April 15. Come enjoy some good cheer and good singing.
P.S. There are many good restaurants near the Heavy Rotation Brewing Company location, for dinner later if you so choose.

This will be a “standard” Beer Choir event, with a “Choirs on Tap” extra focus on Adam Reinwald’s choir, Kantori.
(The Apollo Chorus is planning on being a “Choir on Tap” at a future Beer Choir event next Spring).
Artistic Director Auditions
Current chorus members are urged to attend a rehearsal/audition event in which we will rehearse pieces under the direction of candidates to become the next artistic director of Apollo.

Apollo Launch Party: Our Next 125 Years
What: A boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka for current, former, and prospective Apollo members to reconnect, socialize, meet and greet, and, yes, even sing. Some friends from Cantus may also join us.
When: Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Arrive between 6 and 6:15.
Where: 8 Water Street, Excelsior MN 55331 - The boat, Lady of the Lake, is docked at the pole position at the Port of Excelsior right across the street from Haskells.
Cost: Other than the cash bar for beer and cocktails, everything else (the cruise, soda/pop, and taco bar) is free!
Parking: Public parking is available off Water St. near the docking area. Look for signage and park accordingly.
Accessibility: Lady of the Lake has 4 steps to board. Every effort will be made to accommodate wheel chairs, if being lifted on and off the vessel is a possibility. Contact https://www.ladyofthelakecruise.com/ if you have questions or need more information.
