Snow? in Richfield? in February?

Those of you who didn’t let a little February snowfall stop you from coming (rare as snow has been this year) got to hear Apollo and the UW-Eau Claire’s Singing Statesmen join in song, with nearly 100 voices strong.

We had a great audience. Thanks for coming!

Tenors, Baritones, Basses, Join us!

New member auditions are held by arrangement with our conductor, Chris McGinley, and generally are on Sundays at 6:00 pm at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 500 Blake Road South, Hopkins, MN.

Our 2023 December concerts were well attended. Thanks for coming!

Combined concert with Edina Chorale

A total of 364 audience members heard the Apollo Chorus join with the Edina Chorale at our combined concert “At the Manger” on December 2nd, 2023.

Did you hear?

Apollo performed at the North Stage on the porch of the Victorian Building in Loring Park from 1:30-2:00 pm and again from 2:30-3:00 pm as part of the 2023 Loring Park Art Festival.

(We had a good audience of festival goers, not just geese.)

We hope you enjoyed our 2023 Spring Concert!

(We believe it went well — as you know, as we sang at the end, it’s “Hard to be Humble” about it).

Thanks for coming to our 2022 December Concerts:

”Apollo in December:
Gifts of Word and Song
to Ring in Your Holidays”

We had great audiences at both our Saturday night and Sunday afternoon concert. We really enjoyed singing for you, and we appreciated receiving these compliments from audience members later:

That was one of the best Christmas concerts I have ever attended!
— Pam T.

One who attended Saturday’s concert wished she would have been able to come on Sunday, too:

I would have loved to have seen / heard it again. I loved, loved, loved it! When you sang Night of Silence/Silent Night... AMAZING!
— Mary J.

Apollo performed at Holidazzle in Loring Park on Saturday, November 26.

We had a good time, and it was above freezing this year!

Apollo joined Latvian Singers “Silvicola” at the Opening Ceremony of the 15th General Latvian Song and Dance Festival on June 30, 2022.

It was a great event, and the audience seemed to understand our pronounciation of the Latvian lyrics!
